Browser Pomodoro Timer

Privacy Policy

Your focus sessions are yours. Browser Pomodoro Timer does not collect, track, or sell your personal data.

Effective date: October 5, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Browser Pomodoro Timer (“the App”) handles information when you use the macOS app and its Safari extension.

1. Data we collect

We do not collect personal data or usage analytics through the App. The App does not require an account and does not send your timer activity, browsing history, website content, or settings to us.

2. Information stored by the App

Timer state, selected durations, preferences, and Pro entitlement status are stored using app and browser storage managed by macOS and Safari. Safari may synchronize supported settings through Apple services according to your device settings. This information is not sent to us.

3. Safari webpage access

Safari may ask you to allow the extension to access webpages. This permission is used only to display break reminders and operate the timer interface. The App does not record or transmit the pages you visit or their content.

4. Purchases

Pro purchases are processed by Apple through the Mac App Store. We do not receive your payment card details. Apple handles purchase information under its own privacy policy and terms.

5. Tracking, advertising, and the website

The App does not use advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, cookies, or cross-app tracking. These support pages do not use advertising or analytics cookies. The web server may process standard request logs for security and reliable operation.

6. Children’s privacy

The App is not designed to collect information from children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Changes and contact

We may update this policy when the App or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the latest version. For privacy questions, contact c@metalab.cc.
